33 Weeks - 3D ultrasound

At 33 weeks, David, William and I got to see Baby Elliott through 3d ultrasound!  It is amazing how clear the pictures are - and it was a lot of fun to try to see who he looks like the most!  Elliott was really great during the ultrasound.  He was moving a lot!  Even the technician said she couldn't believe how much he was moving - she could see my stomach moving out of the corner of her eye.  He did have his hands around his face a lot, but not so bad that we couldn't get good pictures.  We got to see him smile and yawn!  The technician also took his measurements, and turns out he was measuring 2 weeks ahead!  She said he is already over 5 1/4 pounds.  William was also measuring 2 weeks ahead when we had his 3d ultrasound.  So, we're waiting to see if he'll be early like William, or just a big baby :)

Baby Bump at 31 weeks

30 weeks!

Believe it or not, I'm 30 weeks today!  Only 10 weeks left.  Wow, I have a lot to do before this baby comes!  

Well, before we went to the beach, I had my glucose test, and found out the next day that I failed :(  Everything else seemed to great.  The heartbeat was fine, and the baby is moving a lot!  For some reason I was much more nervous about the second test this time than I was with the last pregnancy.  So, Tuesday I did the 3 hour test, and I passed.  Whew!  I did not want to go on a diet! 

I also got scolded by the nurse because I pulled a stomach muscle going down the water slide with William.  I know, I know...no rides, but it was the kiddie slide!  I rode 2 of the slides twice each without any problem, but apparently the 3rd slide was the "big one," and in the last turn, it pulled me back, and in my attempt to stay up and hold on to William, I must of pulled something.  Anyway, after a few days of pain, everything seems to be fine now.

Now for some good news...we decided on a name!  Our new little guy is going to be...

Elliott Andrew!

We are getting excited!  I can't believe we are going to have another baby soon! 

 

21 Months!

William will be 21 months tomorrow!  He is getting to be such a big boy!  He stayed with David's parents for a few days last week, and when he got back, I felt like he had grown two feet!  He is trying to talk more and more.  He knows lots of animal sounds, and he will try to repeat things we ask him to say.  He also carries on conversations with us even if we don't understand what he is talking about.  I think he's going to take after his daddy and talk with his hands :)  He has become Mr. Independent as well.  He is always making us laugh.  Here he is on the way home from the beach.  William was screaming (not crying) at the top of his lungs trying to keep himself awake, and David turned around and put his finger up to his mouth and said "shh."  Well, William must have thought he was sticking his finger up his nose because he did this and thought it was hilarious!  The whole time he kept making snorting noises and laughing at himself.  Too silly!

We love you so much even with both fingers up your nose!

Fun at the Beach!

We were really excited to go to the beach with David's family last weekend.  Too bad Hurricane Irene also decided to join us.  But she didn't ruin all our fun.  Even though it was rainy most of Friday and Saturday, we still had a great time.  On Friday evening, we went to see The Pirate's Voyage.  William loved it!  And so did David :)

We also went to the Water Park!  David and John had a great time on the big rides, while Jackie and I had fun with William at the kiddie pool and slides.  William LOVED the water-slides.  At first, he was a little nervous of all the water spraying everywhere, but after I took him down the first slide, he was ready to go all by himself!  He wasn't quite big enough, so after I took him a few more times, David went with him lots!  

Our last night, we went to dinner at the Flying Fish!  

On our way home, we took a couple of detours to Oak Island and South Port.  We even took the Ferry!

We had such a great time!  Too bad vacations have to end :)

Cupcakes are always better when you are sharing with friends!

Cool Wheels!

Riding the cool car carts at Best Buy and Food Lion!  He loves to drive!  The problem is having to leave the store - they're too much fun to leave behind!
