We finally got out fence installed! I'm so excited. We've already been able to be outside and enjoy not worrying about Layla and William wandering over to the neighbors yard or to the street. I'm glad it is still nice enough out to enjoy it before it gets too cold!

35 week Dr. Appointment
Last week, I had an appointment which kinda made me really think that this baby could come at any time. The doctor was asking me about what happened last time for William to be born at 37 weeks. To which my best answer was, my water broke and he was born! She said maybe my body just isn't programmed to carry babies to 40 weeks. She decided to go ahead and do the Strep B test that they normally don't do for a couple more weeks. I never had this test with William because he came early. She also decided to check and see if I was dilated. I was so surprised - with William, I was never checked for dilation until we were in the hospital. I wasn't dilated, but she said she could tell I was thinning. Also, I am now having a checkup every week, and on my way out the doctor said "ok, see you next week if you make it that far!" So, this appointment really made me feel that Elliott could arrive as early as William!
I had my 36 week appointment yesterday - and no real news. Baby was still head down, heart beat was good, and my Strep B test was negative - yay! William went with me to this appointment, and he was so well-behaved. Hopefully, Elliott will be as good!
As far as how I feel these days - HUGE is usually my answer. I just keep getting bigger and bigger, and finding it harder and harder to get around. Sleeping is almost impossible. I usually do fine until 3am, at which point I spend the next few hours waking up every 20 minutes to turn over, which is a huge ordeal - David is probably ready to go sleep on the couch at this point. People have been telling me that they think the baby has dropped, and I think I agree. William never dropped - he was still high when we were in the hospital. It will be my luck, that now that I've accepted that he will be early, he'll go all the way to the due date :) Let's just hope if that's the case, he's not a 10 lb baby!
Happy Birthday Kristy!
Kristy's birthday was Oct 14 and we were excited to celebrate at Kanki's! I've been very slack lately and only managed to get pictures of the kids while we were waiting for a table.
Pictures or no pictures, we had a great time, and hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Pumpkin Patch 2011
I love this time a year, and with this being such a HOT summer, and me being pregnant, I am loving it even more! This is our second year visiting the pumpkin patch which is just down the street from our neighborhood. William really enjoys getting on the tractors - and so does David! Someone asked me if I was hiding a pumpkin under my shirt! Haha - that would have been one big pumpkin! Can't believe next year we'll have two to take to the pumpkin patch!

Helping Daddy!
William loves his daddy and loves helping him out!
Helping daddy work outside...
do his homework...
and push the cart!
22 Months!
On October 6th William was 22 months!
William is such a joy to be around! He's so sweet and happy most of the time. He is starting to talk more and more. A few things he says, "Here you go!", "uh-oh," "pa" (paci), "pop" (Popsicle), "eeese" (please), "cheese," "purple," "car," "ball," "quack-quack," "boo-boo." He also loves pointing out animals and doing their sounds. A few of his favorites are to roar like a dinosaur, and trumpet like an elephant (using his hand as a trunk of course).
Here's a few things he's been up to lately...
playing music!
watching TV
cuddling with mommy
playing at the park
driving cars
looking sharp at church
being silly
being mad
and stealing Daddy's Oreos!
We love you William!
34 Weeks & Fall Family Pictures
We were so excited to meet Sarah and have some family/maternity pictures made at the Rose Garden in Raleigh. She was able to get so many great shots even though William was not cooperating. He fell asleep in the car on the way to Raleigh, and was pretty grouchy for the whole shoot, but Sarah is amazing and managed to catch the few smiles he had. Here are quite a few of my favorites. Make sure to checkout her website! http://sarahelaine.com/?p=652
Thank you Sarah! We can't wait to see you again when Baby Elliott arrives!
Sewing Project
So, when I found out I was having another boy, I decided to put them in the same room and make them matching crib bedding. I know this was an ambitious project - not only do I work a lot, but I hadn't used a sewing machine in since my early teens. Well, I went for it anyway. I borrowed a sewing machine (thank you Cecilia!), and purchased all my fabric. I actually didn't buy any patterns, but used tutorials that I found on the internet (the links are posted at the end of this post). After many weeks, I finally finished! I made crib bumpers, sheets, crib skirts, and blankets...for two cribs! William of course wanted to help me every chance he got - which meant I had to do most of my sewing after he went to bed :)
Here's the finished product!
