This past April, we were at the most magical place on earth - Disney! While I was excited to go, I must say David was jumping up and down excited. He had been talking about planning and saving for a huge trip to Disney for months when my sister called and said she and her family were going for a conference and wanted to know if we wanted to occupy their second room in their hotel. We couldn't pass up this opportunity! I must say I was a little worried. I mean, I was that crazy person who was taking a 2 year old and a 5 month old to Disney. But looking back now, I'm glad I did. It also helped that we weren't alone. Kristy and Adam, and my parents were all there to help out. We had a wonderful time, and I loved seeing how much fun William had.
Mickey sent a little welcome package to William the day before we left.
We were there a whole week, and we actually drove to Florida. The ride wasn't terrible, but I was definitely glad to get to our destination. Here are the boys on the way up :)
I was surprised to find out that I could ride most of the rides with the baby. I thought I would be sitting outside waiting for everyone else. I am also grateful for my sister's careful planning - we really got to do everything we wanted! William's first ride at Disney was the Dumbo ride!
Some of our favorite rides include: Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, The Many Adventures of Wnnie the Pooh, Toy Story Mania, and The Seas with Nemo and Friends.
We also really loved the Main Street Electrical Parade. The kids were just amazed! One of the funniest and memorable times we had was at the Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor. We celebrated my Dad's, David's and Clarkson's birthdays while we were at Disney. We made my Dad wear a Happy Birthday pin with his name on it on his actual birthday...against his will of course...and he was chosen as one of the "victims" in the Laugh Floor. Let's just say it was hilarious, and dad was a great sport! Elliott even made it onto the big screen because he was just so cute and "fresh out of the oven!"
William wouldn't wear any Mickey ears, so I had to try them out on Elliott :)
We loved riding the train around the Magic Kingdom!
Where's the 3rd amigo?!
All that fun sure does make a boy tired!
And not just Elliott...
Mmm...we all enjoyed mom and dad's dessert!
Here are some of the pictures we had taken by the professionals at Disney!

My prince :)
William actually wasn't scared of the characters! It took a moment for him to warm up, but after that, he loved seeing them.
Although our last day there wasn't our best - it was very hot and the kids had had enough - we did get to see all our favorite characters at lunch - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy! I'm so glad we got a picture with Mickey!
We had a great time, and David is already trying to plan our next trip. While I'm not too sure I'm ready to go back just yet, I'm happy we went and I feel very blessed to have been able to go and for the memories we made.
