Helping Daddy cook!

William loves to help cook! David pulled out a pot for and put some water in it for William to stir around while he cooked dinner, and looked over to find that William had poured almost a whole salt shaker of salt into the pot as well! Hopefully he'll enjoy cooking much more than his mother does!

Baby Blessing

January 8th wasn't just a special day because it was our Anniversary - it was also the day Elliott had his Baby Blessing!  David did a really good job and I feel so blessed to have a husband who holds the Priesthood and is able to be a part in these special moments in our lives.  We were also very happy to have so many of our family and friends with us to share this important event in Elliott's life.  Also, a big thank you to my dad, Spencer and Brother Harbertson for helping David with the blessing.

Happy Anniversary!

David and my Anniversary was on January 8th.  We have been married 7 years, and together for 10!  I can't believe it has been 7 years since we were married for eternity!  Definitely the best decision I've ever made.  Thank you David for 7 wonderful years!  I love you!!!

And thank you for dinner at Sullivan's and the beautiful earrings you gave me!

Elliott's First Sick Visit

When Elliott was only 7 weeks old, I woke up to find him covered in spots.  It looked to me very much like the Roseola William had.  I called the doctor and they wanted to see him right away.  They did not think it was Roseola because that is caused by a virus which young babies (especially breastfed babies) don't usually get.  After looking at the rash and asking me lots of questions, the doctor finally said he thought I was right.  Good thing about the rash, it means it is the end of the sickness, and it should just go away on its own in a day or two.  Still...you never want to see your babies looking like this :(

Picture with Santa

Pictures with Santa went much smoother this year.  I learned from my mistakes and made sure I went early this year.  While William is a little timid with Santa, at least he's not one of those kids who is terrified of Santa :)
